Introducing

Mr. & Mrs. Ramsey and Erica Rozmid!

After much consideration, we have decided to blend our last names into one family name where ultimately our children will share the same family name: Rozbruch + Abdulhamid = Rozmid

You might be wondering—why did we decide to blend?

In our relationship, our entire goal has been to unify us as a couple. Rather than simply accept norms/traditions, we sought to critically think and analyze each convention in a way that fits our relationship and life we want to create together. We are combining parts of our current last names in order to symbolically honor both of our heritages, rather than one and not the other.

We feel strongly that the two of us, and our children, should have the same family name.

How hard is it to legally change your last name to Rozmid?

Not that hard! Nowadays, this is becoming more common.  We understand that this may be the first time you have heard of a couple combining their last names, but we are definitely not the first! Our last name is one of many big decisions we will make, and we look forward to having you celebrate with us on July 13, 2019!
